June 25–27, 2025 – Novara (Italy)
The International Workshop on Functional and Operatorial Statistics (IWFOS) will be held in Novara (Italy) from 25th to 27th June 2025. The workshop aims to connect international researchers and to foster scientific debate on methodological, theoretical and applied aspects on Functional Statistics and related fields. The conference is at the sixth edition after Toulouse (France, 2008), Santander (Spain, 2011), Stresa (Italy, 2014), A Coruña (Spain, 2017) and Brno (Czech Republic online 2021).
Topics
The topics of this workshop will privilege “infinite dimensional statistical problems or methods” with special emphasis on:
Statistical Modelling for Functional Variables;
Functional Data Analysis;
Operator-based Statistics;
Background for Statistics in Infinite-dimensional Spaces;
High Dimensional Statistics.
We wish to encourage also contributions in Machine Learning in order to foster relations between all these different fields of modern statistics and to contribute to their future development.
